Striking, breathtaking, and beautiful are just a few words that come to mind when I think about Ashley and Alex’s wedding at The Washington Club located at historic Patterson Mansion in Washington D.C. Ashley was fabulous to work with and I had so much fun working with her.
Ashley and Alex chose a beautiful wedding color scheme in which a classic periwinkle took center stage, accenting with modest hues of yellows and whites. For the boutonnières, we chose a single white rose lined with periwinkle delphinium blooms. For these fun-loving bridesmaids, we used bright yellow ranunculus with fairy-bell flowers that really popped against their dresses. All of these elements combined together in Ashley’s bouquet as well!
Some brides believe that over-the-top ceremony décor is the only way to go. If your venue is as lovely as The Patterson Mansion, we suggest pairing this idyllic atmosphere with simple, timeless details. We designed a garland for the mantle that was the perfect complement to the overall tone of the venue. To brighten up the room, white chrysanthemums, snapdragons, and a touch of dark blue delphinium adorned the dark chivari chairs, creating a bright and sleek look.
Many thanks to Erin J Photography for capturing these great moments so we could share them today!
