Winter Floral Trends

Having your wedding in the winter months doesn't mean you have to sacrifice having gorgeous florals. We are able to get almost any flower anytime of year, but it can come at a cost. Luckily, there are trends that lend themselves to the colder months. Here are four floral trends that are perfect for winter!

Holiday Inspired

Don't be afraid to use a little inspiration from the holiday season if you are having a December wedding. Wreaths are a great way to add in a little touch of the holiday season. They are great for the church doors or think bigger and use multiple wreaths in different sizes to create your ceremony backdrop.

We love the way this couple utilized evergreen on the stairs along with some red bows to add a little decor to their church backdrop.

Berry Pretty

Berries come in a wide variety of colors like green, purple, blue and red. They add such a wonderful texture to the look and give you the feel of winter.

They also add a touch of simple elegance when submerged in a clear vase filled with water with a floating candle.

Jewel Tones

Darker and deeper tones always evoke the feeling of winter. Some of our favorites to use are purple, burgundy and deep greens.

If you are looking for something subtle, just use the jewel tone as a pop throughout the bouquet. We added in pinks and greens to balance the color of this bridal bouquet.

Winter White

Some people count out all white for winter, but this look is so classic and elegant that it works for all seasons. Don’t be afraid to mix different tones of white with traditional and garden roses and hydrangeas.
