Fun Filler Flowers!

Sure, flowers always get the glory – but what about their supporting stems? Filler flowers are a beautiful way to jazz up any bouquet, plus they can help save some pennies by giving the arrangement a full look without splurging on lots of elaborate flowers. We figured it was only just to showcase these fun fillers in all their glory!

Pair your bright blooms with a hint of grey for a well-balanced look! We used a foundation of ferns and brunia berries for this beauty, with just a touch of dusty miller peeking out in different places.

Hydrangeas are a luscious way to fill in any arrangement! While a full centerpiece of Asiatic lilies may cost a small fortune, you can easily get the same feel by adding hydrangeas. An extra plus is that these flower clusters come in all colors to match any theme!

Who needs flowers when you can have a stunning arrangement of simple filler flowers? Gypsophila, or baby’s breath as it’s commonly known, often plays a supporting role in bouquets (and plays it well!) but it certainly can take center stage all on its own!

Looking to branch out a little more with the greenery? Amaranth, seen above ‘dripping’ from the arrangement, is a great way to add some dynamism to any arrangement! Soft touches of Queen Anne’s lace, which can also be seen above, is a nice way to bring a touch of green to the table. If you want more color, hypericum berries are a great choice – they come in multiple colors, but you can see the red berries prominently displayed in this centerpiece!
