2016 Wedding Flower Trends So Far

Happy Monday everyone! We are officially entering the wedding mid-season! We wanted to take a step back and share what trends have been present in the industry. 2016 is turning out to be the best year yet for florals and we are loving what we have seen so far!

Suspended Flowers

We are absolutely loving this trend! Having suspended or highly elevated flowers makes for unique and interesting visuals for wedding guests and can be a great conversation piece at the dinner tables. It can also create an almost “in the forest” feeling to your wedding that helps for a more intimate environment!

Festival Flowers

The festival trend means that bouquets or centerpieces are built with many different bold colored blooms that are able to each stand out individually rather than blend. This bouquet is a perfect example, with a mix of peonies, garden roses, ladies mantle, bupleurum, hypericum berries, and a big bright coral charm peony for fun.

Wild Arrangements

This year, we’ve found that couples are looking for bulk as opposed to round and perfectly circular. That’s fine by us! We’ve loved seeing this style at outdoor garden weddings and chic barn weddings.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of this season’s couples bring and what we’ll be seeing in 2017!
